His hands were big, his skin rough and calloused and divine. He was warmth and strength, and I fit against him just right. She might destroy it, she might breathe life in it, but ultimately it just feels.
It feels like she heals a part of my soul and captures a part of my heart and completely owns it. Where no matter how dark, traumatic, or liberating and light, her books are so incredibly healing. I have read 6 books of Miss Walker, including this one, and I quite confidently state that in a lot of her books, personally speaking that is, I just find her writing to be so healing.
